MONTANA!
Montana really is the Big Sky Country.

It's worth visiting anytime, even if it's only by computer. It's where I was born, raised and learned the value of nature, the outdoors and learned right from wrong (mostly).

If you have a few minute and are interested, here are a few Montana links you might want to check out:

The UM School of Journalism
They gave me a couple degrees, the least I can do is mention them. Actually, it's a GREAT journalism school. (Evidence here notwithstanding)
The Montana Kaimin
College journalism. But good college journalism. At least it was when I was there....
This is the web site for St. Ignatius Elementary School.  My sister, Marilynn, is the grade school principal there. I'll bet she's in there somewhere, although I looked high and low ...
My brother, Mart, works for ACS Inc. in Raleigh, NC. He's toiled for the company for 20 years now in Montana, Minnesota, Washington (state) and Colorado doing computer/medical/medicaid programming stuff. He was born on Montana, however, so his link's here. Hey, it's MY site...
The Corvallis School District , where I graduated MANY years ago.
KLYQ Radio in Hamilton, where my friend, Steve Fullerton, works. Montana Events. This site often works and when it does, it lists a lot of good things to see and do in Montana, when the state's not on fire...

This blows me away. I was raised in Corvallis, Montana. It isn't even an incorporated town. But it has a web site! It ain't great, but it's there!
A long, long time ago, I worked for the Ravalli Republic newspaper. When I was there, we barely had computers. Now they have a Web site. I grew up in Montana's Bitterroot Valley, which also has a travel site BitterrootSites.com. Go there.
