SPORTS

I'm a big sports fan, and since I'm a graduate (a couple times, at least) of the University of Montana, quite naturally, IGriz follow the The University of Montana, especially Grizzly football.  The Griz won the Division I-AA National Championship Dec. 22, 2001, defeating Furman 13-6 in a championship game that wasn't nearly that close. It's their second championship - make that second National Championship - in six years. And their fifth time in the title game in that span. Not bad for a bunch of beaten up cowboys, wouldn't you say?

I was inflicted with a sad disease a couple decades ago and hence am forced to religiously follow the Chicago Cubs. Thanks, anyway, Harry!

This season will mark 100 years since the Cubs last won the World Series. But 2008 WILL BE THEIR YEAR. Make book on it.

At least I don't have to wear a silly red bird on my cap
.

I also have been known to pay attention to The Chicago Bulls , but that hasn't quite worked out since fat Jerry's fire
sale a few years ago. But somehow things are looking up. Not sorry to see Ben Wallace go.
